My Digital Marketing class worked closely with Sprinkles Cupcakes to create a social media audit and campaign. My team analyzed social media metrics comparing Sprinkles to two competing brands using Emplifi Analytics. We conducted secondary research on the characteristics of target markets and developed a tailored social media campaign. Our idea was for Sprinkles to collaborate with Krista Horton, a social media influencer and entrepreneur. Because she owns her own Rum company, we thought Sprinkles should make a "Horton Coconut Rum Cupcake". My team was announced the winners of the five teams participating, and our strategy was hand-picked to be implemented by the Sprinkles' CMO herself.
